We're out of town at my MIL's house and LO has a random rash. It's all over (chest, back, a little on his face & arms, and mostly on his butt & legs). It popped up after we ate breakfast. He didn't have anything super out of the ordinary, but everything was a *little* different - different brand of "Cheerios", non-organic berries, and some bites of a pancake from a restaurant. I'm thinking maybe the pancake had cinnamon or nutmeg in it or something? He was still wearing his jammies and was fine when we woke up, so I don't think it's topical. But my MIL did buy the high chair he used (for the first time today) off FB marketplace and mentioned that her cat has fleas (after we've been here 24 hours 🙄). He doesn't seem itchy, but he was up ALL NIGHT last night, which is super out of character for him. I can feel his first molar sprouting, so I think that's why he slept so poorly, but idk if that's related to this or not.
TLDR; does this look familiar to anyone? My 15 m/o has never had a rash or reaction before. We're out of town and there are lots of variables rn, so I have no idea where to start.

That really looks viral to me. Does he have a fever? Is he stuffy at all?

@LCSP,
Nope, nothing going on but the rash. He just took a 4 hour nap and it doesn't look any worse, but it doesn't look much better. Still doesn't seem to be bothering him whatsoever.

our 4 year old and 16 month old have something similar. The doc said fifths disease. Our daughter has the “slapped cheek” symptom. Neither of them really showed anything but the rash! It’s all over their upper thighs, back/butt, chest, face, and upper arms
Hers is more noticeable than the younger baby
