Ledo Pizza Corner Shoppe has opened another Montgomery County location at Giant Food on Rockville Pike, located at 1319 Rockville Pike and serviced by Ledo Pizza Rockville.
Ledo opened its first Montgomery County Corner Shoppe location in Olney last year and followed it up with the opening of the Orchard Center Corner Shoppe. They’ve also opened additional Corner Shoppes at the Burtonsville Giant, at Giant in White Oak, and at Kentlands Giant in Gaithersburg.
Previously, Ledo Pizza opened its first “Ledo Pizza Corner Shoppe” inside of a Giant Food store at 1649 Crofton Center in Crofton, MD (Anne Arundel County) this past summer. The “Corner Shoppe” offers take and bake pizza that allows customers to take home a frozen pizza to bake themselves at a later time. The store will also offer hot pizzas from the oven as well.
Ledo Pizza started near The University of Maryland in 1955 with its first location on University Boulevard. Since 1955, Ledo Pizza has grown substantially from just one location to over one hundred locations throughout Maryland, D.C., Virginia, South Carolina, West Virginia, and Florida. Ledo Pizza is one of the pioneers of what we call “Maryland Style Pizza.”

Well-Paid Maids Celebrates 7 Years of Paying Living Wages
By: Well-Paid Maids
Aaron Seyedian launched the home cleaning company Well-Paid Maids in June 2017 and, that August, began offering cleaning services around the D.C. area with his staff of three -- including himself.
At the time, he paid cleaners a living wage of $16 an hour, plus benefits.
Here's what he told The Washington Post in September 2017: "It's just immoral for people to have to panic every time the rent is due, to wonder how they're going to pay for their groceries, or whether they can buy their kid a pair of shoes."
Today, Well-Paid Maids has grown into a team of around 35 employees. Cleaners now get paid a starting wage of $24 an hour. Plus, they get benefits, like health, vision, dental and life insurance; 24 paid days off per year; 100% employer-paid commuting costs; and more.
Aaron and other Well-Paid Maids team members have also advocated for paid family and medical leave, higher minimum wages, and more.
This summer, help Well-Paid Maids celebrate seven years of creating change in a notoriously dirty industry.
